The Perfect Square

The Perfect Square is a joint effort between mother and daughter inspired by the simplicity and perfection of the Log Cabin block. The Log Cabin starts with a square in the center and grows into a perfect square. Did you know consecutive odd numbers add together to create perfect squares? 1+3=4, 1+3+5=9, 1+3+5+7=16, and so on. In this quilt, each new set of odd numbers is a new color group.
